WP6
Social Adaptive Capacity in the Process of Transformation
The movement towards greater sustainability is not only an economic or technological process; it also necessitates that agents adapt to changes in their everyday life. The adaptive capacity of a society is determined in part by aspects which are addressed in WP1 to WP5. Additional individual and social aspects are, however, also significant . WP6 examines the role played by tradition and social milieu in the process of social change undergone as a result of the movement towards increased sustainability. WP6 therefore builds on the findings of the previous WPs.
