The project „Carbon Neutral Courier Services“ (CO₂URIER), funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Polish National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), aims to yield concrete sustainability improvements in the courier service industry. The CO₂URIER project will approach this challenge by means of a comprehensive analysis based on state of the art techniques of environmental and economic impact evaluation. As a result, more environmentally-friendly services will be developed in collaboration with Polish and German partners. At the same time the project provide insights for future improvements within this growing sector.
