Dr. Martin Kesternich accompanied a delegation from Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i), the Society for International Economic and Scientific Cooperation of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, together with other representatives from science and industry to Colombia. The core of the one-week trip was formed by joint workshops with Colombian scientists at universities and research institutions in Bogotá and Medellín on the topics of mobility and air pollution control. Martin Kesternich presented current ZEW research results on voluntary CO₂ offsetting in long-distance bus and courier services. Together with their Colombian colleagues, the participants also visited local transport projects, which were accompanied by scientific research.
