On February 26, 2021, the second NostaClimate support group meeting took place. In addition to the members of the research team, Daniel Römer (KfW), Corinna Gather and Stefanie Böther (UBA), Christoph Schinke (Bishops' Conference), and Karl-Heinz Schneckenberger (Sinsheim Municipal Council) participated in the meeting. In the first part, the results of two surveys were presented and discussed. The municipal survey, conducted by Elisabeth Dütschke and Sven Alsheimer, surveys climate protection activities of German municipalities, while the survey conducted by the University of Kassel covers individual climate protection preferences in the Corona crisis. In a second part, results from two field experiments conducted by the University of Münster and ZEW were presented. In the subsequent discussions with representatives from the field, the scientific findings were compared and discussed with experiences from the field. Especially the impact of the Corona crisis on future climate protection activities of non-state actors and individual climate protection activities were in the focus of the discussion.
