ZEW offers a host of opportunities to visiting researchers – you can get involved in our research activities, carry out your own research, and/or plan and work on new joint research projects. You will have the chance to participate in our international conferences, workshops, and in-house seminars.

We support your research stay with two different programmes, differing in the length of the research stay:

The ZEW Visiting Researchers Programme (VRP) supports established researchers as well as promising young economists coming to ZEW for research stays of at least four weeks.

The ZEW Short-Term Exchange Programme (STEP) facilitates scholarly exchange for established researchers of demonstrated academic excellence by providing an excellent opportunity for short-term research stays at ZEW.
