The project will be carried out under the lead of the ZEW in cooperation with the Institute of Applied Transport and Tourism Research (IVT) and CAR at the FH-Gelsenkirchen. The cooperation partners have conducted a wide range of research projects in the field of transport economics for national and international institutions. They use microeconomic and macroeconomic simulation models as their preferred method.

In the context of the project the partners cooperate with an advisory board. Its renowned members include representatives of the automotive and fuel industry and various interest groups as well as marketing experts and national and international policy-makers.

In addition, numerous supporting companies and institutions provide a platform for conducting the large-scale survey component of the project.
