The priority program 1764 is a network of labour market researchers which is sponsored by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The main objective of the priority program is to provide research about the challenges of the German and other European labour markets in a globalised world. Its focus is on technology, trade and demographic changes and the ways they interact with employment, wages, and participation in the labour market, with a particular emphasis on the role of institutions. This network brings together researchers from economics, sociology, and human resource management as well as from various universities and research institutes.

Second three-year Funding Period

Customized Data through the CADAL project: Important Information regarding Proposals for the Second Funding Period

The Research Data Center (FDZ) of the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit, BA) at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) supplies high quality administrative data to researchers and provide projects of this DFG Priority Program with custom shaped data through the CADAL project supported in the DFG Priority Programme (SPP 1764). These data are specifically customized to suit the specific research questions of projects in the SPP. If you plan to continue your ongoing research project in the SPP and you have further custom shaped data requests for the second funding period or if you submit a proposal for the first time and intend to use specific custom shaped data of the FDZ, please inform the Coordinator of the SPP Bernd Fitzenberger and contact Dana Müller, head of the FDZ, no later than 15 December 2016.  This will allow the new CADAL proposal to consider your data request. Further information on the CADAL project.
Disclaimer: Note that the provision of your requested custom shaped data through the CADAL project requires that both your project proposal and the CADAL proposal will be approved by the DFG.
